December 4th - Cathy Edwards, Telstra
Cathy Edwards leads the Customer Experience group within Teltra’s chief Technology Office. She is responsible for identifying disruptive new products and services to sit on top of emerging technology and drive revenue growth. She has a background in innovation, computer science and cognitive science and tries to walk the line between the human and technology elements of her role to uncover those things that customers “don’t know they want”.
Cathy will talk about the recent launch of Telstra’s Next G network and how this can be seen as a tipping point for the growth of mobile data services. Drawing from an understanding of the trends that drove web 2.0 in the fixed broadband world, she will hypothesise about the future of data applications on mobile networks.
