Dale Rankine is the CEO of Moket, Australia’s first Flash Lite development company. He’s been working with Flash and interactive media for the past 10 years, holding many creative and development positions in web studios and companies in his hometown of Brisbane, Queensland. Dale is also a Certified Flash Developer, Certified Adobe Instructor (Flash Lite) and Subject Matter Expert on the upcoming Flash Lite Developer Certification exam.
After starting and running Brisbane web-house DRD Interactive, Dale seized the early ground in Flash Lite development and started Moket. Moket is a company that dreams and develops innovative ideas for mobile phones and devices, based on the Adobe Flash Lite platform. Its goal is to create rich mobile applications, systems and compelling Flash content for the next generation of mobile users, both here in Australia and around the world. Everything from games, business applications and utilities, through to full content systems and platforms, Flash Lite gives Moket the power to take simple ideas and quickly turn them into real-world products. Dale is currently also leading Moket through its first round of raising capital investment with help from technology business incubator, i.lab.
Outside of Moket, Dale is a busy father of 3, husband of 1, drummer, comic collector and sci-fi junkie.
